SICSA is proud to be hosting the annual HCI Doctoral Consortium alongside the PhD Conference at Robert Gordon University this year. The doctoral consortium is a great opportunity for students with interests in the HCI domain to share their experience and skills with their peers.
This year, we would like to invite all HCI students, regardless of their current stage within the PhD process, to apply to the doctoral consortium.
Event Details
The doctoral consortium will take place on Wednesday 27th June from 12:00-17:00 and will also take place within Robert Gordon University. Lunch and (mostly) unlimited coffee will be provided during the event.
Please note that accomodation can be provided for the Wednesday Night for all attendees of the main conference
Applications for the event can be submitted through the following link and consist of:
- Applicant Name
- PhD Institution and Year of PhD
- 150 word summary of research area and findings to date
- 1-Page Research Summary
The application deadline for the doctoral consortium is the 15th of May 2018.
Applicants will be contacted within a week of the application deadline with additional detail on the event.
