Drinks Reception — Glasgow City Chambers

The first day of the conference will culminate in a reception in the grand surroundings of the Glasgow City Chambers. The reception will feature a civic welcome from a senior representative from Glasgow City Council and welcome speeches from the SICSA Graduate Academy Director and the Conference Chair. There will be music, drinks and a hot fork buffet; and this will be an excellent opportunity for delegates to relax and network with peers.

The reception will run from 19:30 until approximately 21:30, at which time delegates will be able to enjoy the rest of their evening in Glasgow City Centre or travel back to the Conference accommodation.

SICSA will provide transport to the venue from the conference accommodation. Please note that transport will not be provided by SICSA for the return journey but there are a number of options for transport back to Glasgow’s West End, including the Subway, train, buses and taxis.
